About me
I came to psychotherapy the way many people do — through my own need to make sense of what was happening in my life. Personal therapy, which I began in 2018, showed me in practice: change is possible. Not in the abstract, but really — in how you feel, how you communicate with people, how you make decisions.
When I started practising myself, I saw it from the other side. Sometimes these were small, targeted changes — a person learned to say "no" or stopped blaming themselves for every little thing. Sometimes the changes were deeper — and moved people toward a different way of life that brought more happiness. It's these changes that continue to inspire me.
How I work
I work in the approaches of gestalt therapy and existential therapy. Both approaches share one thing: a focus on what is happening here and now — in the body, in thoughts, in relationships.
Gestalt helps to notice patterns, complete "unfinished" situations, and find alive, adult ways of acting. The existential approach adds a dimension of meaning: we touch on themes of choice, freedom, responsibility, closeness and loneliness.
In sessions there are no "right answers" or judgments. There is exploration — at a pace that suits you.
